Le petit de Flor de Copan, le Short Robusto, m'a été présenté par Altadis (distributeur) lors de la séance de Bullit et je trouve que la forme très originale de son tube (minuscule) qui ressemble à une grosse balle va bien avec ce film (cf. photo).Aspect: Cape claire/dorée et bien tendue, remplissage homogène et souple, tirage impeccable. Une bonne petite douille.
A cru: odeur de foin, tirage bon (pas trop ventilé), notes d'épices (poivre blanc) et végétales.
Dégustation: Au niveau de la dégustation, pas la peine de parler de tiers. Ce "Hecho a mano" démarre assez franchement ... normal vu le module mais suprenant pour du Flor de Copan. La fumée est blanche et très volumineuse. Il a nettement plus de tempérament que le Piramide de la même marque. D'abord une sensation astringente, portée par des notes herbeuses tandis qu'on retrouve le poivre blanc. Il évolue ensuite sur des notes de tabac blond. L'atringeance se perd, il a même tendance à s'arrondir un peu. La fumée est piquante au nez. Final à dominante végétale (et boisée) qui manque de finesse aromatique. Persistance moyenne, assez rassasiant malgré sa petite taille. Il convient de le fumer lentement pour ne pas le faire chauffer.
Pas désagréable, à acheter (5€) parce que le tube est sympa, pour le reste il faut aimer ce type de terroir et la dominante herbeuse qu'il propose. Moi ça ne me plaît pas. Son point fort est son tempérament assez "punchy" qui m'a surpris agréablement. Attention, cendre très friable (on en met partout) et fumée très volumineuse qui peut facilement saturé un espace fermé.

The small one of Flor de Copan, the Robusto Shorts, was presented to me by Altadis (distributor) at the time of the meeting of Bullit and I find that the very original shape of its tube (tiny) which looks like a large ball goes well with this film (cf. photograph).
Aspect: Clear golden wrapper, well laid down, homogeneous and flexible filling, impeccable draught. A good small cartridge.
Before lighting: odor of hay, good draught (not too ventilated), notes of spices (white pepper) and vegetable.
Tasting: On the level of tasting, not the sorrow of speaking about thirds. This “Hecho a mano” starts rather frankly … normal considering the module but suprising for of Flor de Copan. Smoke is white and very bulky. It has definitely more temperament than Piramide of the same mark. Initially an astringent feeling, carried by grassy notes while one finds the white pepper. It evolves/moves then on notes of mild tobacco. The atringeance is lost, it tends even to swell a little. Smoke is prickly with the nose. Final with dominant vegetable (and wooded) which misses aromatic smoothness. Average persistence, enough satisfying in spite of its small size. It is advisable to smoke it slowly not to make it heat.
Not unpleasant, to buy (5€) because the tube is sympathetic, for the remainder it is necessary to like this type of soil (Honduras) and the dominant grassy one which it proposes. Me I do not like that. Its strong point is its temperament enough “punchy” which has agreeably surprised me. Attention, ash very friable (one puts some everywhere) and smoked very bulky who can easily saturated a closed space.
Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec le commentaire. C'est la première fois que j'en essaye un. je ne renouvellerai pas. Pour moi sans intérêt (et je n'achète pas 'étui !)
