Cohiba Sublimes EL2004 (Sublimes).Aspect: beau et massif, bien construit, très plein et homogène. Cape maduro, soyeuse/sableuse. Beaux reflets. Un beau cigare qui donne envie de l'allumer.
Nez: animal et feuille d'automne.
Cru: même sensation, tirage "cubain".
Démarrage: suave, mature, élégant. Son univers est sombre, bien qu'un peu timide encore.
1er tiers: Boisé gras, fumée volumineuse, aérienne, sucrée au nez. La vitole s'intensifie rapidement et prend un gros "volume aromatique": boisé (cèdre) + épice légère mais persistante, le tout dans l'univers sombre déjà évoqué (type Piramide Hoyo, Montecristo C). Puissance modérée. Le réglisse (fréquent chez Cohiba) se fait très présent.
2ème tiers: Evolution marquée, acidulée. La puissance se fait sourde. Aromatiquement, il évolue sur de l'amande et de l'herbe fraîche. Pour autant, le couple arôme/puissance perd de sa qualité, i.e. perte d'intensité aromatique.
3ème tiers: Rond et presque fondu. Notes de terre grasse, arabica. Le final est proche du San Cristobal de la Habana - Muralla ... en moins rassasiant. Assez frais. A noter que la cape libère "son gras" sous l'effet de la chaleur.
+: Séduisant à l'oeil, excellente construction, 1er tiers somptueux et prometteur (gros volume aromatique). Univers sombre, marque des bons cigares.
-: Petite baisse de régime au 2ème tiers (moindre intensité). Puissance modérée.
A laisser vieillir peut être encore quelques semestres mais je ne sais pas s'il gagnera beaucoup (déjà rond et manque de volume aromatique).

Aspect: beautiful and massive, built well, very full and homogeneous. Wrapper is maduro, silky/sandy. Beautiful reflections. A beautiful cigar which gives desire for lighting it.
Nose: animal and sheet of autumn.
Before lighting: same feeling, “cuban” draught.
Starting: suave, mature, elegant. Its universe is dark, although a little timid still.
1st third: Timbered fatty, bulky smoke, ethereal, sweetened with the nose. The vitole intensifies quickly and takes a large “aromatic volume”: timbered (cedar) + light but persistent spice, the whole in the universe sinks already evoked (standard Piramide Hoyo, Montecristo C when young). Moderate strenght. Liquorice (frequent at Cohiba) is very present.
2nd third: Marked evolution, acidulated. The strenght is deaf. Aromatically, it evolves/moves on almond and fresh grass. For as much, the couple flavour/power loses its quality, i.e. loss of aromatic intensity.
3rd third: Round and almost molten. Fatty ground notes, arabica. The final is close to San Cristobal to Habana - Muralla … but less satisfying (doesn't fill up the same). Enough fresh. It should be noted that the wrapper releases its "fat" under the effect of heat.
+: Attractive with the eye, excellent construction, 1st third sumptuous and promising (large aromatic volume). Dark universe, mark of good cigars.
-: Small fall of mode to the 2nd third (less intensity). Moderate strenght.
To let age can be still a few six-month periods but I do not know if it will gain much (already round and misses aromatic volume).
